East will leave you hanging with anything they can sweep under the rug, warranty issues, ha, their approach to warranty repairs is if it costs them more than ten dollars to fix they deny the repair or say this is within spec or it is acceptable and isn't covered. Any dealership can offer you a certified used vehicle, but when these cars are purchased at auction, from Canada, that tells me they will buy a bunch of discarded, auction vehicles with odd problems and poorly repaired body or interior issues, and they will run them... read more
I picked up my brand new vehicle and it looked amazing. One day while washing it I noticed some bubbles in the paint. I found the defect within the first couple of weeks. I took it to Toyota East Madison thinking they would take care of it. They gave me the run around, had a regional tech look at it and the technician said it was due to a car wash, or tree sap. ********* FRAUD!!!! My wife got a nail hole in her tire yesterday so I pulled it off her car and had her drop it off today to get patched. The tech called us to say it wasn't repairable and we needed to get new tires ($1300). So we both went back there to talk to them. They told us the hole had been patched previously (despite us owning the car since new) so they could not fix it. After 5 years of having all 4 the vehicles in our family serviced and puchased at East Madison Toyota, we will be going elsewhere from now on. I strongly urge you to consider using another dealership so that you can avoid what has happened to us and the horrendous "customer service" we have received.
