My son just had an appointment at the office newly acquired by BMC and our experience was actually amazing. He’s been a patient at East Elm for 10+ years. We were first seen by a very competent nurse and got a call from another very competent nurse the next day with follow up (which was unfortunately not always our experience with medical support staff there prior to BMC). Pretty useless for treatment for acne but I am 18. I feel they do not have a lot of resources and I don’t even know my pediatrician because each time it’s a different person.
Horrible, the most rude staff/ front lady ever, how miserable do you got to be sitting taking calls all day, the Berkshires have 0 good doctors, don’t come give this place money, they know nothing and couldn’t care less about your or your kids.
When my child was young this was the best office to go to. Now, they seem to be lacking in care. Last year I asked for a form to be filled out for sports. 10 days went by and I heard nothing. On day 10 I called and asked about the form and they told me they would try to complete it. Today I called at 8:19 AM As my child has a virus, Was seen in urgent care, And is complaining of chest pain. I left a message at this time this morning. It is now exactly 11 hours later And I have not had A phone call back.
My entire household is very sick, my parents brought my 5 month old into the urgent care at 5 pm (since her pediatrician office is closed at 5 and that’s where they told us to go - I asked if I should call first but the nurse at her pediatricians office said just go and walk in). I double checked their hours online to make sure we had time and the hours say 8-8 on Friday. My parents got there and they told them that they were closed, and got turned away.
