I have had an extremely frustrating experience with East Coast Comfort regarding a split AC/heat system in my apartment. I first contacted them in July when I attempted to use the AC during hot weather and found it was not working properly. I was quoted high service fees and could not proceed at the time. East Coast comfort did the most horrible thing to us, and they have treated us with utter contempt. We have been with East Coast Comfort since they began when Ed McCollum and Anthony Mongeluzi started the company in 2006. Both Ed and Anthony were to our home in the early years of their business, performing maintenance and repairs, and one of them was here when they installed our current unit. The technician spent half a day here left with the unit being overcharged. They sent another technician out they did something it seemed to work when I paid them. Im now sitting in my house temp 81 degrees. I have a party here on Sunday was hoping it would work. The technician they sent second time was good but its not working now!
I cannot rave enough about this company for real! I came from using a well known HVAC company in the area that always overcharged and underserved the issues in my old Philadelphia row home so I was beyond thankful when a family friend recommend I call ECC to give me an estimate for a combi boiler install. Their estimate was 10k less than that of the company I previously used and they installed it with more care and consideration.
