Awesome establishment ALL the way around.
We enjoyed everything about this place. The broiled grouper my wife and I ordered was delicious and cooked perfectly. The kids had popcorn shrimp, a shrimp dinner, fried fish, and the chicken strips and they loved them all as well. We're from SW Louisiana and it was the closest thing to a taste of home we've had outside of LA. Denise was our server and did a great job for the 6 of us. We'll definitely be back!
Wonderful service and delicious food. I have a lot of food allergies and sensitivities and my fantastic waitress and kitchen cook were able to make my meal exactly for my limitations and really hear me and follow my requests. Eating out causes me a lot of anxiety and it was such a blessing to be able to be really confident with my meal and that I wouldn’t get sick after. Highly recommend!!
Tried to go to dinner here tonight. Got there early to beat the crowd. Walked in at 5:30 to be told that it would be a 20 minute wait because they didn’t have any small tables available. There were empty tables all over the place. I guess this means the big parties are priority. Our party of three is not important enough to separate a few tables. We waited for about ten minutes. By then our desire to stay for dinner was ruined. We decided that maybe a different restaurant would appreciate our business so we left. A party of ... read more
If I could give this place zero stars, I would!!! Overpriced food and service was spacey!!! Food was obviously reheated from the day(s) before. While taking another parties order, I was told by the server to go to the bar and ask for my beer. We had to mix our own drinks. We didn’t even get all the food we ordered but the check still had everything on there. We could of gone to the grocery store and had a better meal.
Food was rich but definitatley delicious. My husband and I will definitely be back!
It’s a tourist trap. Poor value for money. We had a platter which consisted of 5 small shrimp, 4 tiny scallops, about 6oz of grouper, 2 crab cakes and 2 hush puppies. The grouper was good but everything else was salty and didn’t seem that fresh. For $25 it was not worth it. They have a silly rule of no substitutions as well and charged us $3 for 2 little pieces of corn. As locals visiting for the first time, we had really hoped for better. Better go to Scooters on 87.
Meh.. we got an appetizer, 3 entrees and 3 iced teas...the bill was 105 bucks. The food is bland, slopped on a diner plate not really pretty to look at. I don’t think it’s worth the money at all. Staff was friendly, place is kind of smoky from the fryers and it was kind of hot. Won’t be back.
This place is a 10. Wonderful food. I had the cajun angels. Crab stuffed bacon wrapped shrimp. Great. My partner had the grouper. One of the best things ive ever eaten. The drinks were great also. This is a must if you come to this city. Ill definitely be returning.
