VERY rude receptionist. She hung up when I asked for her name and yelled at me when I was inquiring about appointments. Never experienced such treatment from a doctors office. There is a review that speaks about the same rude treatment, it was definitely the same woman.

Receptionist who answered the phone on Monday February 3 at 1:52 pm was extremely rude, nasty, and unprofessional. She had a HORRIBLE attitude for no reason. The only thing i asked was to schedule a new appointment. She needs to be popped in her mouth and then fired. I would never go here for medical help if this is the interaction I get on the phone. I stared with EBAC back in 2005 when it was in Berkeley through September 2024. I have experienced their help and support for 19 years. They are excellent. Dr. Jeff Burack saved my life multiple times and is one of the most caring doctors I have ever used. The staff from top to bottom is excellent, empathetic, caring. and knowledgeable. I have moved across the country and will terribly miss the clinic and staff. They are truly dedicated to their patients and the HIV/AIDS area of medicine. I was happy with the care for the 20 years I was a patient, but honestly since moving over to Kaiser Oakland, I’ve found everything at Kaiser better, the doctors, the other professional staff, the office staff, the prescriptions and communications systems, and the insurance coverage.
