Ken Kopka did a super neat and professional job cleaning the chimney flues and my fireplace and pot belly stove. He gave us timely explanations of the work before, during, and after it was done. He gave useful suggestions about future work that was not needed along with a few minor things that probably should have prompt attention. I have made an appointment to have him come back for some needed tuckpointing that has been a problem over the years. We've used them for several years and find that they try to upsell services everytime. This week, we called bc smoke backed up into the house, and after asking a few questions and a quick inspection(less than 2 minutes) they told me it would be over $3K to repair. He did spend time explaining the problem, but I was shocked to still get a charge for $75 (service call). No work was done, and to get charged for an estimate - I am done with them, since no work was done.
