Mental health is nonlinear, presenting itself in many different ways. At times, symptoms may show randomly and sporadically, at least that was the case for me. I was not at the point of needing to go to the ER, my symptoms were not severe, and a hospital stay or visit was not warranted. What I needed was someone to talk to - some guidance and direction. EISS provides me with emergency outpatient care - providing therapists, psychiatrists, and even additional support counselors. Jill, my therapist, was the only therapist I’ve... read more

It's never easy to ask for help, to seek out strangers to help you carry a heavy load. Most of us try to do it on our own or with the help of friends, neither is necessarily advisable, particularly when the weight of the world, trauma, loss are so unforgivingly, inescapably heavy. Im shocked seeing the reviews I cannot believe what some people are writing. I had an absolute wonderful experience. My therapist rachel was amazing. I miss her. The nurse practitioner who took care of my meds was wonderful. Her name was Grace. I miss her. Also I just don’t understand why people had terrible experiences. I had a great experience and I wish I could go back and I probably will, as I have not found a therapist that I like since

After my 30 days I'm leaving with a great experience and after care. The entire staff is warm, welcoming, caring and concerned about the clients. Kim was my therapist. She is a wonderful caring person who I loved talking with. She made me very comfortable talking with her. Denise was in charge of my medication. She is awesome!!! We had a conversation about my medication wh... read more
