My sweet son treated me to breakfast this morning and what a treat it was! I ordered the Corn Cakes Egg Benedict. I took my first bite of the Corn Cake and the tears started falling and I couldn't speak. Who knew that just a simple bite of food would stir up such emotion and memories. It tasted exactly like the ones my Mama used to make. I saw this place on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives and knew that I would to try it when I went to Charleston a few weeks later. The chicken and waffles were incredible. I will always come back whenever I am anywhere near the Early Bird. Yum!!!
The atmosphere is great and so was the service, not to mention the food was off the chain!
