We wanted to try a Diners, Drive in and Dives restaurant while in Charleston and we decided on The Early Bird Diner. Boy was Guy right! This place was on Point in everything we ate. I had the chicken and waffles and the flavor was amazing. My husband had the Country scramble and he loved it. Will eat here again if we're ever back in Charleston.

Food was just delish: chicken & waffles and grilled cheese sandwich and tomato bisque. Only a short wait. Tables socially distanced and staff wearing masks. Service very friendly and responsive. Definitely will go back.

Nothing, top notch food!!
I decided to go back to the meatloaf sandwich. I was disappointed, was not what it use to be. My meatloaf was burnt, very little sauce. Before Early Bird had a blueberry BBQ sauce that was so delicious. The chicken and Waffles and the fried okra are still highly recommend.
