RecommendedFirst time ever having chicken and waffles and now I understand why people love it! The pecan crusted chicken was cooked to perfection and paired with the cinnamon waffle and the whole bite dipped in maple syrup, it was a flavor explosion! Waitress was super friendly and they have local artists artwork on their walls for sale. My only negative, the place could use a little dusting.
Chicken & waffle is off the hook! Worth the drive from Raleigh. Staff is very cool and helpful. You could hear them welcome their regulars! Delicious!
Delicious food but pretty slow service, we came in at the same time as a table across from us and they were done and leaving before we ever got our food

We ate at the early bird diner because it was featured on diners, drive-ins and dives. It is great food and great atmosphere.
We live out of town and we come here Everytime we come into Charleston! We have never encountered a bad experience. Last night my son picker EBD for his birthday dinner and our waitress, Jenna, made our son's birthday special! it made his night and made him feel super special! I recommend this restaurant to ANYONE who ask for recommendations when coming to Charleston! The food never disappoints and the staff is super friendly. Definitely a returning customer for life!!!!
