My mothers water heater stopped working and she called Earl Gray. The sent a tech out and they told her she needed a new water heater. The told her it would be $2716 to replace it. Once I found out I called another company out since the water heater was only 3 years old. That tech found the element was bad and fixed it for $329. Earl Gray tried to scam an 81 year old widowed female. I called to cancel the new water heater and they tried to act like it was too late to cancel. We had some challenges with the crew that did the work. They didn't clean up after the work, they broke some siding and they damaged our gutters and then denied it. We had to call management (Jason) to get them back and take care of everything. Shane did a great job on the frontend....Jason did a great job on the backend. We were told the Darling crew was let go after our job. Whether that is true or not, we would request a better crew if we were to ever need roofing services again.
Hard to get scheduled. No one spoke English on the crew. Problem took forever to get resolved and want until they wanted their money they fixed it. Finally, got a notice about an impending lien because apparently you can't pay your suppliers.
Last year you started our project in June and couldn't finish till nearly September. You got pricing confused. You left the metal parts of our roof in half our driveway in an ugly box for a nearly month, making half our driveway not usable. You blamed your suppliers (which to the end customer makes it still your fault -- you picked them). Only one person at your company was okay to deal with. Jason got the materials here quickly, was on site looking over the job, made sure the crue had everything they needed, and completed the roof in three days. Two years later this roof looks great still and no leaks ever, it cannot get better than that!
They were unresponsive, unreasonable, and didn't complete the job. I took them to small claims and won by default
