This man missed my mother’s Leukemia. She had textbook symptoms, saw him regularly and he dismissed her concerns until she died a painful death of acute Leukemia within a few days after years of suffering. He never even came to see her at St Joseph’s but sent another doctor. Her death left the biggest void in her 4 children’s lives and 7 grandchildren.
Dr.Berge was great, he did everything he could do for my husband, but the cancer just spread aggressively fast and my husband Steven Coley passed September 4th 2021 in hospice care center... Dr. Berge called me personally to give me his condolences and apologized for not giving my husband more time and not giving us more time... Dr Berge genuinely cares about my overall well being. He listens and addresses any questions/concerns I have. If he doesn't know the answer he finds it. He is knowledgeable and explains everything in a way I can understand. I feel safe with Dr Berge.
My doctor was very informative and concrete in explaining my condition and details involved. After telling him I was a nurse and enjoyed clinical information I felt very comfortable in asking questions and relating my opinions. I feel fortunate to have seen this excellent professional for the first time
