Absolutely nothing has plugged in to our kitchen island electrical outlet and it feels hot to the touch. The specialist looked into the situation and discovered the outlet had been hooked up as a gateway receptacle for use by a frigidator located downstream, plus the wiring connections from the box were the source of the heat; the boxes have been re-wired with a wireless, quality grade receptacle, and heavy wire nuts to ensure a secure wiring connection, and no heat is generated.
