I was admitted to Eagle Ridge Hospital for kidney stones and had one of the worst experiences of my life. I was there for five days, but instead of giving me a proper room, they left me in the hallway the entire time. The noise was constant—day and night—and I could not get any rest. I was in extreme pain, screaming from kidney stones, but the staff showed very little care or compassion. I waited for about $30 worth of parking and did get out of emergency and into the wait for the Dr area. After an hour or more there, I noticed not one Dr. had been in this area. I asked and was told there was no time frame for the wait. I decided to leave as I wasn't going to put more $ towards parking. I was told as I left that it had been announced that the wait was over 7hrs !!!!! Apparently, there was an announcement but I didn't hear it where I was. It should announced in my area too.
