great company – Every piece of our furniture was delivered on time and without anything damaged or misplaced. their pick-up and delivery crew members were awesome and worked their tails off until the job was done. It was the best moving experience we could of ever had. I will refer you guys in the future to all of our friends who may need a GREAT mover like Eagle Van Lines.

Worst move I have ever had (and I've moved a lot!) – I moved this past weekend. I had moved with Eagle before and they were good. This time, they sent an 18 wheeler to move a one bedroom in the N. End. Because they sent the wrong truck, I was informed that due to their mistake, I would be unable to move or I would have to pay them hundreds of dollars more to have them park down the street. Life saver!!! – Eagle moved me in Beacon Hill at the end of January of 2008, the movers were fantastic. The move was from an elevator building to a 3rd floor walk up!!!! , everything made it safe! Even my 42" plasma TV that I was most concerned about. These guys were amazing, they took apart everything wrapped it well and made sure it fits in the stairway. Eagle Lines movers - honest & experienced..! – Best experience ever with these guys..!! I have moved locally & in & out of Mass for over 15 years.. Over Charged Movers – The estimate and actual charges were 40% higher. They claimed more cubic feet, I called to re-itemized inventory over the phone and the estimate stood as is. On top of it, they broke my oven, and going through claims to get it paid is near impossible.
Hire them and have the worst experience of your life – I hired them 3 years ago for a local move and their service was good. So I hired them again this year for moving from Boston to California and had a terrible experience. They came to my house and took a detailed look and gave me a not to exceed estimate. Well, after loading the truck, told me the cost is $1000 more. Would be wary – -- Came home, looked at all stuff and provided an estimate. Actual charges nowhere near estimate. Final bill was more than 25% higher. -- Terms changed -- what is considered travel time varied at initial time estimate, at beginning of move and at end of move. -- Broke things and hid them. Did not know about broken stuff until a couple of days later. -- Also took away at least one thing that was ours and did not belong to them.
Strong Movers – I wanted to thank my movers for moving me last Friday in the Back Bay. The move was very hard...I moved from a 3rd floor walkup to a 4th floor walkup. The movers didn?t complaint and they were amazing. My box spring didn?t fit in the stairway, but they hoisted it threw the window without a problem. I wanted to thank Eagle Van Lines and the movers ? Shawn, Yoni and Rick for making my move seem like a walk in the park.
