RecommendedNot a fan of dentists. This one was fantastic. The assistant was fantastic, too !!!!
5 stars isn't enough!! I had to have major work done on my front teeth due to grinding. I was nervous but Dr Makani and his staff were comforting through the entire process. They would even call just to check how I was feeling. I just completed and I feel AMAZING!! His work is AMAZING!! So happy I found this office :)

I had done a lot of research in choosing Dr. Makani at Eagle Family Smiles as my new dentist. I had two REALLY Bad experiences with my previous dentist and was initially apprehensive on my first visit. Dr. Makani's warm, caring, gentle persona comforted me, and quelled my fears. His entire staff is awesome and very knowledgeable - especially when it comes to letting you know ahead of time what your insurance will cover for procedures. Dr.Makani is an excellent dentist. I was nervous about my visit to the office but was welcomed by the staff. They explained to me all that I needed done in ways anyone can understand and helped me with my insurance info. I originally looked into his office because of the oral sedation they offer. The day of my extraction I took the pill which made me feel relaxed and at ease about the procedure. I was able to sit in the chair and feel comfortable as they worked on my teeth.
