My wife and I stumbled upon this little dive while perusing Yelp! this last weekend to discover new eateries in the area. The service was on point from friendliness to promptness. The food was tasty but the prices were ludicrous. The goulash fries were delicious but not worth the hefty price of $12 for such a meager portion. This place is legit. The server, Bobbie, handled a busy lunch rush by herself like a BOSS and the food was to die for. I wanted everything on the menu.
Tbh I wasn't going to go in. It looked too much like a dive. I'm glad I did. The menu was unexpected. There were items on it I would expect in an upscale restaurant. I went out looking for a burger so I decided to stick with that. I ordered the Eagle burger, I figured it must be good if they put their name on it. I added an extra patty for $2, cuz 🤷♂️ why not. Delicious!!!! Our first time visiting this establishment, and the food was AMAZING! Our waiter was very attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. He had a great knowledge of the menu. We loved his enthusiasm and pride for the restaurant. We all tried something different, and it was all fantastic, super flavorful and prepared fresh & delivered hot!!!

We stopped in today for a late lunch on a road trip. The food was fantastic! Such a creative menu! It was hard to choose. We had a lamb burger and a bacon burger. They were both phenomenal and the sweet potato fries with blueberry BBQ sauce are probably the best I’ve ever had! Give Eagle Drive-In a try! You won’t be sorry! Great food & amazing service!
Our server was amazing. He gave us great service! They were out of mac n cheese and mushrooms so they gave us a free piece of cheesecake to make up for it. Highly recommend dining here!
The Eagle is my favorite place in Jorplin for Lunch/Dinner. I have gone off and on since they opened, and the food is fantastic! They tend to have a pretty fast paced rotating draft beer menu, so don't plan on getting the same beer twice, which is great if you enjoy trying new beers. The food is a bit expensive compared to other dinner areas, but the quality and uniqueness of the food and restaurant make it well worth the cost!
