Had a reservation for 9. I was told by the rude front desk woman that there were no cars available, even though I ‘reserved’ one a week ago. She also told me there will be a car returned within 15-20 minutes. It’s now 9:21 and I’m going to make a reservation with Sixt, instead. I will not be making any future reservations with EZ.

E-Z REnt-A-Car will charge you $15 per day for use of the toll booth pass even if you don't use it! I put the ipass in the glove box and paid the tolls in cash because I didn't want to pay the $15 "convenience fee" to the rental car place. A month later they charged me for every toll that I paid in cash ($10.50) and then added $30 to it in "convenience" fees. BEWARE

Make sure you check your contract before leaving the counter, they charge you an upgrade fee without your knowledge. I didn't even get an upgrade, they still charged me an upgrade fee. If they offered to upgrade a car for you, make sure you look at your bill. When I called to get a refund, they offered 20% discount from the full fee they already charged me.
