EBI advertises that "a standard background check will be completed in 48-72 hours (or sooner) 88-90% of the time." I have found this information to be misleading. From experience, less than half of the submitted checks have met this standard. In addition, EBI fails to mention that it can take up to 30 days for a background check to be completed.
