Unresponsive to maintenance requests, move in process was difficult they were unresponsive for hours on door codes and keys for move in. Myself and neighbors have had ongoing leak issues. Gates and doors frequently break and I pay out the butt for a secure lot I would have expected it to be secure.
Didn’t take action on a leak in my ceiling for over a month. Avoid this property
This is a very nice building of unique lofts, there's even a gym inside (independently owned) which is awesome. It is a quiet building surrounded by businesses, restaurants, butchers, markets and close to Downtown Detroit. It's even around the corner from the Dequindre cut, which is awesome for taking a walk or bike ride to the river. My only caveat is that it is located next to a club, so sometimes on the weekend, there is quite a bit of noise if your loft is facing Winder.
Beyond the coolness of the location—right in the heart of the Eastern Market energy, surrounded by murals, weekend buzz, and an ever-growing mix of food and drink options—the building is genuinely well cared for. Kate, our building manager, takes real ownership. She’s consistently responsive, friendly, quick to act, and brings an empathetic touch to the everyday challenges that naturally come up. It makes a meaningful difference to feel looked after, and Kate truly makes this place feel supported and well-managed.
I have a friend that just moved in and lives out! Upon visiting the spot, talking to management and the location. I'm actually looking to move in myself.
