This place ROCKS! – This is a real gem of a salon in the Wicker Park neighborhood. I'd driven by a million times and decided to try a few months ago. They're very professional (which you'll appreciate if you've been to places that just aren't) but also friendly. They have a cute botique in front and ample salon space upstairs and down. If you haven't tried it , you are missing out!!!!!! – My first experience at Dynamic was a very positive one. A friend recommended me to get a pedicure and a manicure. I have walked by there several times and had no clue there was anything in there but for hair and the boutique. I must say that WOW have I been missing out!!!!! TOO PRICEY AND FIRED THE BEST! – I HAD been a loyal customer for about 3 years. I live in the far NW suburbs and would drive in to get my hair done by Javi. The owner has done a lot of updating and it reflects in the new prices!! The last time I was there is cost me $160 to get some low lites added! No color, no cut, just some low lites. WAY TO PRICEY! I'm 110% satisfied!!!!! – I had the most enjoyable experience this morning that I had to share it with my fellow chicagoans. I'm a blond and have been going to the same stylist for the past 8 years. I moved to Chicago in February so every time I had to get my hair done (highlighted, every 6-8 wks) I had to go through the hastle of driving back to Ohio to go to my beloved hair done. Surprise - they do bridal parties! And well! – I went here once before for a manicure and had a pretty good experience. But what really makes this place stand out is their hair and makeup. I'm getting entire bridal party taken care of (at least 10 people) by the staff here next year and after my trial a week ago, feel very confident that we'll look and feel great. The best! – I love this place. I moved to the Wicker Park area a year ago and found Dynamic. It is a very comfortable environment and everyone is very friendly. Javier does my hair and he is amazing! You know how you always have the exact cut in mind when you walk into a place but don't always get it...well Javier gives it to you and better! I highly recommend this place and ask for Javier, he does everything!
Highly recommended – I highly recommend Dynamic Hair Studio and Javier. The salon has a relaxed atmosphere, is clean and has great prices. Also, I feel compelled to address the earlier review that slammed Javier. Through the reviewer?s own admission, he never even went to Javier. If the reviewer were to quite judging and actually give Javier a try, I?m sure they would be extremely happy with his talents, demeanor and professionalism.
One visit -- So far, SO GOOD – I've only been in once and I saw Antonio (Tony) for all over color (root touch up), foils, and a fresh haircut. He did an absolutely phenominal job!!! Though, when I first got there, the woman at the desk was rude and lazy. She couldn't be torn away from her personal phone conversation. And she didn't let Antonio know right away that I was there.
