Had a Ford Mustang driveline shortened. Yoke welded out of phase. Asked for new u-joints as well. Old junk ones were reinstalled. Balance weight (a flat washer) was not welded very well, I had to finish weld it myself which adds weight to the shaft and affects balance. The work was inexpensive. Cheap. But unfortunately does not please me. Understand I am a little on the picky side but a professional shop would have higher standards in my opinion. I will just mail order a ready made shaft. I apologize for your experience but we at dynamic driveline are a professional shop. We rarely have any complaints about our work. Anything is possible but I doubt the yoke was welded out of phase, if so you can bring it back and it will be repaired free of charge. As far as the weights, yes they do somewhat look like a flat washer but I assure you it is a driveline weight, they come in different thicknesses and sizes. Perfect experience. I called and told them I needed a rear driveshaft, they asked what vehicle it was going in and what mods had been done, and told me what to measure. Picked up the driveshaft next day. Fit perfectly and works perfectly. I'll be using Dynamic anytime I need driveshaft help!
Great guys with quick turn around! I recommend them to anybody looking for a good drive line shop!
