Pretty recepcionist and great room
They say it's four stars. I guess it could be. But, it's not. Had an issue with housekeeping not answering phones for 10 minutes. Decent rooms, though. Service was awful.
Great stay until they charged me for an untouched minibar! Keep an eye out for that. Free WiFi is nice though.
Don't forget to try the steaks at the steak house. They're irresistibly delicious!
Enjoyed my stay. Excellent service, above and beyond. Near Grand Central. Can get anywhere in NY via subway.
Check out the hotel bar/restaurant. It is a happening scene most nights. Order the vodka martini with blue cheese stuffed olives. Tasty!
Hotel situated within 1903 Beaux Arts bldg. Former home of the Chemist's Club. The "Alchemy" Suite" is avail for guests. For 6 months in 2002 Britney Spears had her short-lived Nyla restaurant here.
Don't stay here. Known for customer service and 4-star rating. FALSE! I called front desk for 10 min straight. No answer. Same with housekeeping. The money I paid, that is not cool...
If staying here in April be aware that they don't turn on their cooling system until later. Means you might wind up with a warm room. Windows open but no screens.
