I like how they respond so quickly. The place looks amazing and its near NIU. This community was an extremely beautiful, well kept and peaceful community.
Worst company- towed a car that has a paid for permit that was visible in the car. Said towing company towed it by mistake, tried to put blame on tenant when it’s the fault of the management company and towing company. So I have to lay extra for someone else mistake. When there are multiple cars parking without permits.
I had nothing but issues with my 2 years living in Dwell managed apartments. We had maintenance issues - furnace broke in the middle of the night, and wasn't fixed until late the next day when the temp inside was 45°. Floorboards were loose and breaking on or stairs for weeks. Ceiling tiles in the closet we're broken and never replaced. We had shots fired in our parking lot (I wish I was kidding). Do not rent from this company! Not only are the apartments not up to par when you move in (ours should have been painted before we moved in, but we didn't make a big deal about it) but they charge YOU when you move out to take care of THEIR responsibilities. I was charged out of my deposit almost $300 to repaint our apartment upon moving out even though it looked better than when we moved in. I had done some touch up prior to moving out. Avoid this company at all costs! Would give 0 stars if I could.

I am very happy, here with Dwell DeKalb Realty! I love that the parking lot is always clear of snow, and that I always get a parking spot during the day. It is a very quiet and safe place to live at. My commute to work is great. I am close to NIU and close to other places I like to go to. The staff at the Dwell DeKalb Realty office is very friendly and respond to questions with in a reasonable time frame.
