Our family immigrated from The Netherlands to Fresno in 1957, Mom and Dad brought with them nine children, the family had lots of mouths to feed. That is one reason why we are in the restaurant business! Mom and Dad taught us the values of a strong work ethic and the will to succeed as we helped to support the family. Great family place Our family loves eating here when we are in Morro Bay. The food is great and you can see the rock and the ocean from almost anywhere in the resteraunt. Great family place.
Great Place to eat with Family We spend 3 days at Morro Bay and loved the Flying Dutchman so much we ate there everyday, sometime even twice a day. The food was always good weather it was a burger or clam chowder. They have their own brand of hot sauce that it to die for!! We loved it so much we had to buy a bottle to bring home with us. It taste great in tacos or even on burgers!! The were always friendly and we always had speedy service.
Easy place to take the kids The Flying Dutchmen was an easy place to take the kids. I can't think of anything about any food weve had there that sticks out in my mind as being memorable either in a good or bad way. We have gone back again so it is not that I did not like it.
Local and Visitors Great food and family friendly. Its right on the water so you can watch the sunset while enjoying great seafood! The mussels are great as is their salmon.

Clam chowder was on point and the Ahi Tuna Salad was fantastic!
