My time at DCC was phenomenal! All of my professors were invested in my success - shout out to Paula and Mary in the Human Services department. Save some money, learn more about yourself and your interests, try DCC. DCC gave me a solid framework and the capacity to start my academic career. After graduating from DCC, I transfered to CUNY - Lehman College and I'm currently completing my graduate degree at Columbia University. Thanks DCC!
Incredible teachers, kind and helpful staff. Overall my experience at Dutchess Community College was great. The staff work with you to ensure you get the most out of your time at DCC. I finished my last semester on the President’s List and now have my associates degree in Human Services!
At age 40 I went back to school, 4 kids in collage, after Dutchess I went to Empire State , gradated and continued for my masters. Age does not prevent one from learning!!
Although it’s nearly impossible to cooperate with the ACT Advisors when it comes to seeking help, the campus overall is wonderful and there are so many programs offered that there is something for everyone. Whether you know exactly what you want to do to further your education or not, DCC is a wonderful start!
I feel like no one actually knows what they are doing. I’ve been put in wrong classes by my advisors, and I say ADVISORS because it has been multiple. Financial aid is being held up because no one is any department knows what they are doing when it comes to communicating.
I love it! Every day brings amazing connections to fabulous people!
Staff is so patient and pleasant. My daughter and I went on a day when their computer system went down. Unable to enter the information into the computer system, they prepared and counseled us using their knowledge and experience that made returning the next day smoother!
