Country fried steak.... So good ...don't forget the home made pie ...
We were there on Friday, Feb 12, at 3:00pm - 6 of us. We were the only customers at that time, a few came in after us. Five of us ordered the chicken dinner special, and one ordered soup and salad. Those of us who ordered the chicken dinners were sorely disappointed. I thought we got the dinners rather quickly and as we started eating, the chicken was evidently left over from the noon time meals. Service has been getting worse the last few months. After a 10 minute wait to be seated, they weren't busy, I left. Safe to say, I won't be going back.
Our family has celebrated birthdays at Dutch Kitchen for the past 20 years. We've always had an excellent experience. Last night we had the worst meals ever! There were 11 of us and 1 person had a decent meal (grilled cheese :). The country fried steaks were greasy, not done, and extremely thin. My grandson's country fried steak was still raw. Sure is hard to beat their Chicken fried steak--of fried catfish dinners.
NOT GOOD UNLESS YOU LIKE RAW SAUSAGE WITH YOUR BISCUITS AND GRAVY.
