Iconic ! I've been coming here for many years and it's always been great ! Very good Beef Croquettes ! I prefer them with the blended mustard , hot and regular. The bakery is also very good ! The " Flying Saucer " cookie's are always good + a large selection of baked goods as well. ( Black forest cake and Mocha cake etc. )
This place is a blast from the past. Walking in is like going back in time. The food and service is wonderful. This was my 2nd time coming. Prices are reasonable.
My wife and I have been here on a number of occasions and it was ok. Good prices and ok food. We went there this morning and were disappointed. The waitress was friendly enough but spent a lot of time chatting with the regulars. When our meal arrived, the scrambled eggs and toast were quite cold. We don't normally complain but we would have said something if the waitress had asked us how everything was but she never did . I think if I had been a,regular I would have been paid more attention.
