The WORST Italian food... Went for the first time with a friend today- while my friend RAVES that OSF is the BEST, I had a hard time even remotely agreeing with that. Trying the raved about Mizithra Butter pasta, ugh. I didn't have 'any browned butter sauce' that I could see or even taste. My friend kept pointing out- oooh look at the browned butter- I think he needs new glasses... mine was dry- though the pasta was cooked well, it was just... dry. Simple but very good. This is a must to try at least one time. Fresh hot baked bread delivered to your table with 2 types of butter, before you even order. I LOVE the pesto dressing. The fact that they serve you fresh salad on chilled plates is awesome!! They give you big portions, salad, bread service, and dessert for such a reasonable price. A family of 4 can eat cheap here, and most likely take some food home. Its a family favorite and I would recommend it for a birthday party or family event.
Old Spaghetti? Maybe that's why... I have to concur with so many others with a strong dislike of this place. I've been to the one by pier 70 in Seattle and the one in Lynnwood. BOTH have been at best, mediocre. The food is somewhere between bad and (on a good day) tasteless. I really can't understand how they stay in business, when places with MUCH better fare go under. Obviously, the management knows something about the business end of restauranteuring, but they're clueless when it comes to cooking. Avoid...
Yuck Duck! Ehhh...the food was really geasy. Not my favorite place, but a good experience none the less. Dont get the duck! The bar upstairs is totally cute and trendy. They have some pool tables. The building itself it really neat as well as the decor, 5 stars on that!
Always good Dussini has the yummiest Lobster Macaroni & Cheese. I'd recommend this restaurant to anyone near and far. When in San Diego you must dine here. They are located in the Gaslamp Quarter too!
A family favorite Great price - good food - fun location! No complaints here. Always a fun place to bring friends from out of town. The atmosphere is kid/family friendly. One of our favorite restaurants in town to visit.
The Old Spaghetti Factory is awful I have heard many great things about The Spaghetti Factory but when i went for a graduation dinner with my family, the service was slow and the food came late and cold. I will not return.
Good food, long wait. Great food (at a high price), but the wait is very long. If you are looking for a great dining atmosphere and like the "authentic" old theme, this is a neat place. Just make reservations far in advanced and remember that good food and environment comes at a price.
Spagetti Factory Have been going for several years for birthday parties and when I want to eat Italian out,Good Service, enjoy the Furnishings, and food is absolutely great. Enjoy the restaurant for lunch and dinner.
