I can’t say enough great things about Dr. Kumar and the wonderful staff (I’m bad at names and wish I could name them all but melanie was a saving grace during a hard battle)They are honest, caring, and compassionate. They truly put my feelings and my dogs care first and I am so thankful to have found such wonderful support.
5 Stars Doctor Kumar and his staff are simply amazing. I tried several vets when I first moved to the area and was never satisfied with the care my animals received, until a coworker recommended Durham Veterinary Hospital 7 years ago. They are knowledgeable and very welcoming they love animals and it shows. I have 2 dogs each a handful in their own right... but everyone here goes above and beyond with the care and treatment they provide. I would never go anywhere else.
I was Very!!! Disappointed with the Service. Originally my dog went to visit with a tumor in her mouth. Dr. Gave me few options (surgery, but would grow back, pills-to “slow” growth, or put her down at the time or later) at the time she was Ok. The Tumor was not as invasive. I was ready to put her down recently and they said it would cost $300 because Dr. didnt have in his notes that euthunasia is a option.... When verbally it was a option... ended going to to North Haven Animal Hosptal for half the price.
There very caring and loving.They love the animals just like we do.I've been with them for about 12 years now and not planning on leaving anytime soon — in Durham, Connecticut.
