I have been going to them for well over ten years, taking both dogs and cats there and seeing both Dr. Otto and Dr. Closser. they ripped me off. I took my dog there to get the spectrum test that I was talked into by doctor OTTO. Finally get the test a month ago. I got the results and they gave me so many different prices couldn't get an accurate price at all going back and forth I'll call you back this that never gave me a straight answer they told me I had to buy a Year's worth which I know that's a lie and then they told me the prices were the same for the drops and for the shots and then they ... Very down to earth vet. Friendly and clearly care about your pets first. Affordable as well. Never been pushed in a direction I wasn’t comfortable with. All my options are always clearly outlined and respectful
I have been going here for 19 years. Very compassionate doctors and technicians. Everyone loves and cares for your pet like he/she is their own. All of my dogs love to go to the Vet's office because of how they are treated by everyone. Highly recommend and will continue to bring my fur babies to Durham.

I’ve been to several vets in the area over the last 15 years. Durham is hands down the best we’ve ever used. Every single staff member shows compassion and truly cares about the animals (and people) they treat. They don’t push unnecessary and expensive testing, and I’ve never once felt judged in any decision we’ve had to make. Recently one of my dogs suffered temporary paralysis from a back injury. Wonderful people who are extremely talented. They create a very friendly environment and make your pet feel like their the best boy/girl in the whole world. Oh, and they save lives! I’m able to have my best friend and dog laying next to me tonight because of DVV and I’ll be eternally grateful.
