I’m very happy with the care Dr Mikhail and his team provide me. He explains things very well as he manages my retinal detachment. The location has parking and is fully accessible. There is usually a bit of a wait, however, the waiting room is spacious and clean; nice and modern.
Where to begin. It started with a trip to ER, the Doctor on staff called Dr Baziak who was on call on a Sunday night mind you. She said to come to her office at 2pm the next day. Half expecting there to be no appt but there was! YES the wait was hours and hours long but the way I see it, she is the only retina specialist in Durham region and she could have booked us months down the road. A+ doctor. Prepare to wait hours upon hours to see anyone. Bring food and drink etc if needed. It's very slow.
I was very impressed with both Dr. Boyd and the staff. When I could not read the questionnaire the gentleman at the desk did it for me.. Everyone went out of their way to make me comfortable during a trying time. I have nothing but praise for the professionalism and compassion I received.
