Applied for an apartment, supposedly got approved, and they stopped communicating. Will not respond to emails or phone calls, just stealing application money and wasting people's times. Up until I paid the application fee, they would rapidly respond to emails or phone calls. I didn't have high expectations to begin with, but also in the event they attempt to slander, defame or make libelous claims about me, I have evidence readily available to back my claims.
Wish there was a way to give negative stars. I would rather be homeless than rent from anyone at the EXP realty company in Durango again. As many others have stated, these people are slum lords. They're just there to get your money and screw you over at every possible turn. They took our perfectly fine refrigerator (needed a shelf replacement) and switched it to a broken refrigerator, and then finally got us a new one that was half the size of the first one. At least $200 of our food wasted due to their incompetence. Their s... read more

I lived in Durango for over a decade and this is the worst rental experience. My next door neighbor had 7 people(5 adults, 2 toddlers) living in a studio making the traffic and noise unbearable! There are numerous unregistered broken down vehicles filling precious parking spaces. Police are constantly called for drunken fights and their strict policy stated in the lease is ignored. Get everything on paper because they will try to he say/she say an agreement then the slumlord will recant it all. The man can't even look you in... read more
