We love the Dupont General Store! So convenient and everyone is always so helpful.
I have lived here in DuPont just a little over a month shy of 20 years. For so many years I constantly heard that we need a grocery store in DuPont where people could get things like a loaf of bread or milk, etc. We kept hearing that we might get a store. Then in 2013 the DuPont General Store opened. Sandy is the owner and she is a just an outstanding lady and businesswoman in my opinion. She has those things that we all like in a convenience store. Love this place! Awesome cakes, cookies and soups all with ingredients you can recognize. Staff is super sweet . My 6 year old loves going as a treat and picking out a small toy, stationary or candy.
I just love how this store feels when you walk in. It's so cozy and welcoming. I must admit they have the best chocolate cake ever :-)
