Best nursing home in Illinois! They care for and about the residents. I've lived on both the 2 East and 2 South wards, and the staff is just fantastic. If you think that a private, for profit nursing home must be better than a government run home, you are mistaken. If you are looking for a place for a loved one look no further than the DuPage County Convelescent Center.
It was a fantastic place to intern! I interned with the therapy team, primarily the OT department. The residents and staff are amazing and kind.
They take such good care of our dad who has dementia. We know he is safe and clean. It gives us peace of mind! Highly recommended!
I worked at DPCC for 5 years and met some truly amazing people that touched my life forever!
I could not ask for a better home for my Mom...she lived with me for a very long time so it was very hard making this decision...but seeing how happy my mom is and the excellent care, PT, and activites that keep the residents busy and active helped make my decision easier. I looked at private home they may look a little nicer but their activites and PT did not compare, also DPCC has experienced personnel in dementia and not all homes have that.
