I have lived in NY my whole life. I must say that Duo may be my favorite restaurant ever! Not only is the food delicious and prepared to perfection, the service is also impeccable. I enjoy every dish that I eat there and the desserts are fantastic!! The decor is beautiful and unique as well. All in all, duo is the place to be!
Great place to go either for lunch or dinner. I have been there for both. For lunch I always get one of the lunch boxes. I enjoy the variety the boxes offer all in one dish. For dinner I always order the grilled salmon b/c it's the best I have ever eaten--perfect. Business associates first suggested Duo. I went with some friends for there great happy hour specials. The bar area is extremely glamourous. It was a beautiful evening, the windows were open and it was wonderful. The bartender was attentive, knowledgeable and interesting. Had a dinner for 6 people. Was greeted by incredible smiles. Had a few drinks at the bar and was seated promptly. I'm in love with the hanger steak and the truffle pizza!!! Music was rocking and the wait staff was on point. I had a blast and so did my party. Go to duo to experience their adventurous decor and innovative fresh food and drinks!!
A new favorite of mine. While we had a reservation on the early side it was fairly quiet at first, but it filled up quickly. The Burrata, Poached Lobster, and Hanger Steak were all amazing and memorable. Our server was very helpful and polite, which was good since my gf was being high maintenance with her drink orders and corrections. All around was great, with the memory being of the food andcourteousservice.
The luscious bustling bar is enticing as you walk thru the front doors.The dining area is immaculate and pretty, and although they were busy last week, they never rushed us. The food is imaginative and there's plenty of it. Many great specialty cocktail choicesand I loved ordering from the light up menus. The desserts are worth the extra calories. The staff were all very friendly. We have vowed to return.
I recently planned a bachelorette party of 7 here and the overall experience at duo was amazing. our waiter was very attentive and table service was top notch. We went last night and realized what it was like to be in a restaurant where we were treated like an appreciated customer again rather than the rushed and crammed experiences whcih we have been experiencing in so many places lately. Duo is like my favorite outfit. Chic, stylish, suitable for many different kinds of occasions, and impossible to get sick of. Over the past year I've eaten at Duo many times. Tried almost everything on the menu, and never failed to have a great experience. The food is one of the most amazing to be found in New York.
