What better spot for a date than a place named Duo! The cozy, intimate setting is just right when you want to enjoy a delicious meal undisturbed. A rather whimsical décor, with hardwood flooring and splashes of color, keeps the boredom from setting in. The all-American cuisine, samples of which include steamed mussels with chorizos and spices, porter-braised pork stew, flatiron steak, and lamb T-bone, banish thoughts of heavy burgers and greasy fries for a while. I was not that impressed. The atmosphere was terrific. The service was spot on. But the food? Not so much!
This is my favorite place for brunch. The atmosphere is cozy, the food is great and the service is always good!
The food was AMAZING! The only downfall was that it took forever to get your food. It was worth the wait though.
The food was excellent. There were 9 of us and our server was on point. The Buffalo was cooked to perfection. I sampled the chick pea crepe and it was superb. The desserts were all amazing. One of the best meals I have had in Denver.
This was my first time at Duo. It was delicious and the service was great.
The service was amazing! The French press was to die for! And all around the food was perfect! A girlfriend and I shared the salmon board, the summer salad and also an omelet. Atmosphere was really neat. Felt like a little cafe right in France. Beautiful!! Thanks guys!
Sauces and preparations were solid, presentation was middle of the road, creativity was middle of the road, the portions were ridiculously small; we both felt we would have to order two entrees to gain enough sustinance, dessert was excellent and the best part of the meal, prices were ridiculously high for the amount of food we recieved, service was horrible. The restaurant and ambiance were nice. I am a chef and have worked in f&b for 40 years. I was very disappointed by the experience.
Everything was pretty perfect, from the time we walked in. The server, Dylan, was knowledgeable and attentive, every bite of food was perfection. One of my top restaurant experiences, ever. Seriously.
