Good customer service but I had to go to a big box store to get what I wanted. The stock on hand was insufficient. I really hope they make it however I really didn't like having to go to two places

I stood there for 15 minutes at the paint counter and was just ignored. From the time I walked in and bought a few items to the time I cashed out, no help from anyone. The store was empty, so no excuse... It's really gone downhill. I asked an old gentleman at the paint section if they had a machine that can analyze paint chips so I can get the correct color. At one time when this store was Dunn Hardware service was always excellent with a knowledgeable staff. Now the service is rude and unacceptable. I had to return an item because it would not fit even though I was told by a salesperson it would. When I arrived to return the item a clerk in the "customer no service" area was extremely pompous and rude. She was wearing a mask. She said something I could not understand and I informed her she needed to drop her mask so I could hear her. She became rude with her comment. Really? Bu... read more

I can always walk into Ace Hardware and be greeted and helped with whatever I am looking for. Good selection on garden/yard/household/ paint and many other needs you may have. Knowledgeable and friendly staff!!
