Excellent staff. Dr. Frost was extremely patient and understanding with my dog and her needs. I'm so glad I decided to go to them. After being rejected by other vets because of my dog's extreme fear-aggressive behavior. Finally decided to go to them, I was expecting the worse but to my surprise they went above and beyond to treat her ear infection and have her her vaccinated, without putting her under anesthesia, which was the only way other vets would consider treating her. Everyone at Dunkirk Animal Clinic are wonderful!! They have been taking amazing care of our dog Jack, who recently was diagnosed with a heart issue. They’ve also taken care of our two cats, one of which gets very anxious leaving the house, and made it a stress free visit for them!! I’d recommend Dunkirk Animal Clinic to anyone looking for excellent veterinary care and a calm, stress free environment for your pet!
everyone knows the pets' names! they remember too some of their...mistakes...like eating birthday cake before the party! or - that some dogs prefer their ALFA role not be challenged. and they enjoy seeing the Alfa be so mellow after a procedure requiring good drugs. they finally get a chance to love on 'em! Always Friendly!

I'm visiting from out of town and my fourteen-year-old Shih Tzu starting coughing and having trouble breathing. They very kindly fit me in and because of a cancellation around the same time, didn't charge me the emergency visit fee. Turns out he has congestive heart failure. They were so nice and did not try to run a lot of tests. I wanted a chest x-ray to make sure he didn't have any tumors, and the price was way less than I would pay my veterinarian in Massachusetts. I’ve been a client over 3 years; I brought all of my pets here all the time (3 of them same day; so basically left them a good amount of $); this week I’d a situation with my 8yo cat; called them to see if we could arrange a payment plan; because I didn’t have the money right away; and I was dead worried about my cat; because I didn’t know if my ex hurt him or not; and they were dead cold and said I’m sorry we can’t help you; it’s so sad how people pick up professions that requires love and empathy and only care about $; tha... read more
