Pittsfield, MA has several Dunkin locations, but this one seems very busy, with cars backed up in the drive thru lane onto the adjoining street. If you are thinking about coming here, best to order ahead with the Dunkin app and do an in-store pick up. There is a nice gazebo with plenty of seating in the back if you want to sit down. This location gets an extra star for the gazebo.
When it takes more than 10 minutes just for the two cars ahead of you to order and get their stuff, you know it's not going well. Then I sat at the pickup window for another 10 minutes waiting for something that required no prep at all, while watching five employees running around like chickens with no idea what they were doing. Trust me—skip this location. You don’t want food from here.
Worth the drive over from Pittsfield for the friendly service and stunning lake views.
It seems as though the manager enjoys yelling at her fellow employees, which - is suspect - is part of the reason they're always short-staffed. I've waited 15 minutes for an iced coffee and breakfast sandwich, I've pre-ordered coffees and sandwiches 20 minutes in advance and I often still have to wait for my order to be made.
I've been there twice this year, and unfortunately it has been the dirtiest and slowest DD I've visited in Massachusetts. That's too bad because they have such an excellent view and could probably do much better if they were cleaner.
