The in person experience is meh because they’re so focused on DoorDash
Saw this place many times driving by, finally stopped in. Parking was really tough. Might be because of the Farmers Market across the street and Sunday, but still not easy. Ordered the Lamb Plate ($26). Good size and actually pretty interesting — lots of sides like flatbread, greens, olives, pickled turnips, etc. Not boring at all. But the lamb itself was only a few small pieces and it was ground. Personally, I’d rather have more actual meat and less variety on the plate. Awesome place and great service but as an Arab I feel it’s my moral duty to protest this tabbouleh. If you made this in the Middle East, it would likely lead to sectarian violence. Chop much finer, add much more lemon and olive oil.
