I called to get a consultation and the lady was ready to book it for me until I told her I was transgender, she then told me that none of the doctors here will see you. It's complete discrimination and violation of my rights. No one should be able to discriminate because of gender identity or sexual orientation. It's sad that there are still people and businesses that do this.

Our physicians do not perform gender-affirmation surgery on trans patients because they have not been trained in this specialty. Gender confirmation surgeries are normally performed by a multispecialty team who can treat the whole person.
