It seems like they are nitpicking problems with inspections to upsell you a fix or if they have a bad day. Literally shaking the car so hard it rocks on the lift and I think it’s going to fall off, then they say x y or z is bad you fail. Most of the other places I’ve gone to say “this passes just barely, get it done soon. Here’s our quote to repair” isn’t that what the whole inspections thing is about?
Despite the negative reviews, I went here for an emissions inspection. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. I did not have an appointment and waited in the vehicle queue for about 25 minutes (two cars ahead of me). Once it was my turn, I worked with Ayaz who was very friendly and respectful. I was in and out of the emissions test, including paying, within 5 minutes.
They failed my inspection so I took it to a different, local, very reputable garage in our area, and it passed. Complete BS fail. It’s such a shame, this used to be a great local trusted garage. Terry was a great guy and now it’s no longer that, not even close. Beware.
Poorly managed and unprofessional. I went in for an oil change and state inspection. After waiting in line the first day, they told me they only had time for inspection since they were closing, no oil change. The next morning I waited in line again, only to be told oil changes aren’t even done from that line. When I asked inside, the tattooed lady — who seemed to be the manager or in some kind of boss position — kept me waiting while she talked on the phone.
