Duke Energy is a joke! I have been trying to call for OVER a week. Doesn't matter what time of day you call. The recording always tells you there is a long wait time. Never got a hold of anyone. If they think I'm paying for electric where I don't even live, they have another thing coming. This company is a joke. They don't even have an email to be able to talk to someone. I'm livid.
I have a neighbors limb resting on my service line going to my house and called about having Duke trin it back...they showed while we weren't home and left a note that nothing needed to be done but pictures shows otherwise...guess I'll have to wait until the limb takes my service line out and be without power before they come fix it.
Duke charges the highest amount per KWH in the state if FL. FPL, the low cost provider in our state, just anniunced a one-time 25% rate reduction to help ease the financial burdens during the coronavirus crisis. Of course, Duke will just continue purusing profits.
provide a way to actually talk with a human being! call their 800 numbers and get a recording. push numbers to try to get to human get more automated choices. none of which actually get to a human to talk with. options don't fit my need or question.
Duke Energy put their radiation meter on our house recently. These emit 50,000 mW/M2 of radiation guaranteed to give us cancer 👏
Great place to work. Everybody is super nice and helpful!!!!
Would be nice if you could actually talk to someone when reporting a power outage. I would have been able to tell them a branch fell on a power line and where.
I live off of Hontoon road and see your trucks out here daily I also see the tree trimmers out here and along Old New York Ave. however every time the wind blows or it rains we have a power interruption. Why?? I hate Duke Energy!
I live in Nashville, Indiana and my neighbors and I have been without power since May 31 at 2 p.m. The website keeps saying power has been restored and it has not. I own a small bed and breakfast and have had guests cancel because we have no power. I am losing income over this not to mention all the food lose. I will never recommend Duke. You cannot speak with anyone over the phone so we just keep reporting the outage over the phone and on the internet.
Duke Energy has a 1.7 star rating with 128 reviews.
Duke Energy is open now. It will close at 4:00 p.m.
