They have always been very helpful. Ive often had to have my bill due date extended and theyve been gracious enough to do it everytime. Great company.
Worked for the company.Very evil people.Empathy is a unknown part of the language .Try to fix your own reactor and we the people of florida pay for your incompatence?Dont know how you corperate demons sleep.
To the CEO of Progress Energy: Please take to heart what GreenPeace is asking of you. To stop trying to fix your broken Nuclear Power Plant and waste 2-3 billion dollars and put that money towards renuable resources ie; Solar Energy. New Jersey has done this with great success. If a Northern state can succeed with Solar energy we in the South would be an outstanding success.
You make my head spin Progress Energy. How much does it cost us to get you to accept our payments? To do it over the phone at your customer service website it is \$5.00. You are receiving a 3% increase and yet you offer no customer service.
love them, very helpful, easy to work with, fantastic customer service

Its highly likely that a small, poorly insulated home will use more electricity than a well-insulated larger home, especially if the larger home has energy-efficient appliances.Insofar as competition goes, the main reason for these legal monopolies is the chaos in our cities that would result from numerous electric companies each running its own power lines. What a mess!

It was my mothers until she passed away (couldnt be willed to me or joint titled due to her having a reverse mortgage), thus I refinanced in my name and paid off the reverse. Progress demanded a \$350 deposit upon flipping the account in my name. Always lived there as other invoices and IRS records prove. No exceptions, no excuses.

YET, they leave lights on down a street that has no homes and is undeveloped. NO WONDER RATES are so high. They complain that people havent paid bills. Not the Homeowners fault that the Builder is in bankruptcy! Why doesnt PE turn off lights that arent service to anyone in order to reduce the bill? THAT WOULD MAKE SENSE.. youd think. Of course Progress Energy doesnt want to work with the fe... read more
prices are terrible! i live in a very small 3 bed/ 2 bath home. keep temp set at 75 at all times; bill is never any less than \$260 in winter and no less than 360 in summer! shame on them...its robbery!
