Extremely honest mechanic-a true Unicorn. I moved from the east coast, where the Firestone mechanic I had been to just before the move told me my struts were leaking oil. I was moving so didnt have time to get it done there Took it to Duke Choi's garage, where they inspected the vehicle. They told me that while the struts were a little rusty, thry still had 6 months-1 year on them. They also showed me how to evaluate the struts. They could have easily taken advantage of me. Consistenly outstanding service--so far beyond what I'd ever experienced. Unexpected replacement of Prius hybrid battery with a reasonable and fair price, careful evaluation of car, no extra stuff suggested, AND....rides to and from home so I didn't have to deal with public transportation. I've been a happy customer for over five years--never disappointed. I highly recommend Duke Choi...sort of like having a skilled family member who is an auto mechanic. Thank you for opportunity to give this praise.
Duke and his team were professional, kind, ethical, quick, and very thorough in their work and with their customer service. We are not local, and our daughter needed her brake system evaluated and replaced while she's in town for an internship, and we were very impressed and grateful to have Duke Choi's Auto Center suggested to us. The entire process was simple, fast, and excellent. We will definitely use Duke's services again in the future, and highly recommend their shop!
One of the great finds in Los Angeles. Duke Choi's auto center is the most competent, honest, incredible car service center I have ever encountered. I drive 45 mn. to take my car there & would drive 2 hours if necessary. There is just nobody better or even close to Duke and his mechanics in the city ! Duke doesn't get all 5 * reviews by accident.
