My family and I have been going to Dr. Dughman for a few years now, and we have always had a great experience. The entire staff is very skilled, and their approach is appropriate both for my daughter’s age and for me, since I’ve always been terrified of the dentist!!! In fact, I’ve always struggled even with a regular teeth cleaning, and Dr. Polly is incredibly gentle and attentive, I really appreciate that.
The staff here are very kind, and the whole process was efficient. Looking forward to coming here in the future!

I brought my 5-year-old daughter to Dughman Dental in Alameda to have a cavity treated. During the visit, my daughter asked an age-appropriate question: whether brushing many times at home could remove her cavity. In response, Dr. Dughman became visibly frustrated and scolded me as the parent, stating that he had many patients to see and sharing his views on pediatric behavior and scheduling.
