They refused service to a VETERAN with a service dog. Shame on the owner.
This is a repost and this is not the first time it’s happened!! You should be ashamed of yourself and maybe get some training how to respect people with Service Dogs!!! Alright, today 9/3/18 was going good until my friend Patrick and I went to Duff's Famous Wings in Orchard Park. RecommendedEvery time I go to Duffs I am met by a courteous fun-loving staff that does a great job accommodating everyone that goes there. Phil the owner in particular is constantly showing his face greeting the customers giving away free merchandise, food and prizes and spending time getting to know all his customers. Phil has made Duffs one of the best fun-loving sports bar\ restaurants in the area not to mention how he has honored local Firefighter and Policeman and vets. Close their doors and open an oil change shop.
Veteran with his service dog denied service and the manager/owner was very rude during the whole conversation while the Veteran was calm. Even after showing all information the Veteran had about him and his service companion, he was still denied service. Will never step foot into Duff's again.
Denying a veteran with a service dog is beyond disgusting, let alone violates federal law. I will never step foot in this location again and will make sure friends and family are aware of your policy.
