Mr. Dudley taught music classes at The District School during the winter and spring of 2025. He did an incredible job connecting with students and was engaging and joyful as an instructor. He helped students develop a strong understanding of music theory, including rhythm, harmony, musical scales, and notes. He also taught bucket drumming, where students applied their knowledge of music theory through hands-on practice and performance.

My kids thoroughly enjoyed summer camp here. They were a bit nervous since they do not have much music experience but thanks to the warm welcome and encouragement they were given by Mr. Dudley they came home on the first day excited about coming back. Looking forward to taking regular lessons here in the fall.

As an adult piano student, I'm getting exactly what I want to learn from Dudley. Not just drills and rote lessons. Daryl is teaching me how music works and how to practice.

Dudley is a great music instructor! My son takes ukulele lessons with him and has had a great experience. Dudley is kind, knowledgeable, and fantastic asset to the Brookland/Woodridge area!

Mr Dudley is an excellent music teacher. He is also phenomenal with kids. He teaches our 4 y/o piano. He is patient and redirects with humor. Our son looks forward to going to his lesson every week.
