This is my second time working with Ductless by Design. It was again quiet an experience compared to dealing with other general HVAC contractors. All they do is ductless heat pumps aka mini splits. A normal homeowner might not think of this as an artistic endeavor, but there is a lot of creativity in running lines in a way that minimizes visual impact and maximizes heating and cooling. We loved working with Andrew and his crew! Very reasonable pricing, great responsiveness to questions, excellent workmanship, and a stellar attitude from everyone on the team--we could tell they had a great rapport. Our job turned out to be a bit complicated because of our attic design, and when the complication meant they had to stay longer than planned, they were still pleasant and meticulous in their work. Highly recommended!
In April 2022 I began researching ductless systems for my industrial space, and because my local PUD's list of qualified contractors included Ductless-By-Design, I began working with Andrew to schedule site visits, he helped me learn about the process to apply for rebates, and after over a year of planning, budgeting and rebate applications, the Daikin system was miraculously installed in a single day by Andrew, Danny, Alex and Reid. They had to drill two 3" openings 15' feet up a 12" thick concrete wall, they had to run ove... read more
